So, does this work ...?
That would be yes. Yes, it works.
So this was a quick post to check out how the photo gallery thingie works. And somewhat surprisingly it was dead easy. A bit of cut 'n paste of some code from Robert Birming and Bob is very much your auntie, in more ways than one.
oh, you're probably wondering about the borders. Yeah, so that's what photography on Instagram used to look like before Instagram dropped their panties for the TikTok Crowd and now it's all fekkin' portraits and 4:5 format and videos and reels and stuff and now it all looks crap.
These were taken a year or so ago on a day trip to Achill Island in Ireland, on our way to see the beach in the film The Banshees of Inisherin, a very disappointing and punishingly dull film about two people who don't talk to each other for reasons I forget and don't care about. It made Waiting For Godot look like an episode of Graham Norton. I wanted to see the house used in the film which is actually on Keem beach, but in my enthusiasm to capture the stunning scenery of the place I completely forgot to take a photo of the house. Which was all CGI'ed anyway, or so I'm told, so it would have been a waste of time, just like the film.
Right, so that's the photo thing working, now to find some people to follow. Discovery, here I come !
Nothing else to see here, so, move along now, your tea is getting cold.
